President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has donated 1 billion UGX to Bugema University to support the completion of its science complex.
The exciting promise was made during a meeting between the president and the leadership of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Uganda.
According to the university’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Israel Kafeero, the funds will accelerate the completion of the three-story building.

“We are on course to finish this building within the year. The donation will speed up and ease the ongoing construction work,” he stated.
The new facility is designed to include laboratories, office space, lecture rooms, and a conference hall.
Once completed, it will enhance and revolutionize the university’s science learning experience while also making practical lessons more efficient for lecturers.
As the 76-year-old Christian institution continues its journey of excellence, it remains committed to further growth and development.
