Najjanankumbi District recently concluded a powerful Women for Christ campaign that led to 93 individuals accepting Jesus Christ as their personal saviour.
Over the past two weeks, evangelist Grace Kezia Namugga led outreach efforts on the outskirts of Kikajjo, Namasuba, where she passionately preached the gospel.
Her ministry culminated in the baptism of 12 new believers.
Speaking to Shalom Insights, Namugga shared her heartfelt experience as the lead preacher during the two-week evangelism initiative.
“I thank God who carried me through these two weeks of ministering to fellow sinners,” she said emotionally.
“I never anticipated this at the beginning of the year, but I am grateful it happened, and that God gave me strength throughout.”
She added, “There were days I felt nervous, but I’m thankful for the unwavering support from my family, friends, and church leaders. They constantly reminded me to believe in the calling.”
Pastor Noah Ssekitto, the district leader, praised the women’s commitment and faith, acknowledging their vital role in the campaign’s success.
“We thank every woman who participated in the Women for Christ campaign. They did an incredible job, and the results speak for themselves. We are grateful to God for this blessing,” he remarked.
Sarah Kyeswa, a women’s leader from the Adventist Church in Ndejje, expressed gratitude for the continued empowerment of women within the church, saying it has helped unlock their full potential.
