The much-anticipated Kampala Homecoming Concert will take place on Saturday, November 9, at Mestil Hotel.
The melodious concert is set to serve a fresh but unique meal of sweet choral music. Funds from the event shall go towards purchasing braille bibles used by the blind.
The concert line-up is stuck with talented groups such as Shofar Shofar from Nairobi, The Bliss Music, The Heralds Choir, Zamar Collective, The Heavenly Harps, Blessed Hearts, Keziron Family and The Cenacle Ministries Acapella.
Micheal Bunjo, the team lead of organising committee has confirmed that all is set ahead of the thrilling and exciting event.
“We thanks God for bringing us this far. It’s not not been easy but I must say all is set and we are now just waiting for the day,” he said.
“We urge everyone to lend their support to the worthy cause. As members of the Kampala Homecoming team, we believe it is important to spread the gospel to the blind, and we can do that by getting them braille Bibles,” he continued.
“If we put our hands together. We can use music to improve people’s lives and create a vessel of harmony in joy. So to my brothers and sisters out there kindly make it to Mestil so that pull this off together.”
Gates will open up at 6pm as the attendants will be treated to a live band session before real action gets underway at exactly 6:30pm. Each ticket goes for only shs 100,000. Let’s turn up in big numbers so as to celebrate choral music.
