POEM: The Hand Is In Your Balls

THE HAND IS IN YOUR BALLS

Never cover the book by its judge
Especially if you’ve carried all
Your baskets in one egg!
One word to a wise is no longer enough
That’s why horses are now put before carts
Umbrellas less valued even when it rains dogs and cats,
The last cuts are now the deepest
Men are now islands. Love is no longer blind, It glares with owl-like eyes,

Marriage proposals now go like
‘i want you to be my husband and I’ll be your wife’, Weddings are more craved than marriages,
Partners hate the player but love the game of cheating now an Olympic game. For even those with an ‘oven in the bun!
Men are now indeed dogs….
Vaccinated or unvaccinated, they bite whoever. Crosses their path!
Hips now lie, Body count counts more than money on one’s account!

Life is more than a bitch
And no longer what we make it
But what it chooses to be
And to survive,we now pull the bull by it’s tail since the horns are a menace; Like grasshoppers,we jump from the frying pan. Into the blazing fire, And, what you expect at the end of the tunnel
Is no longer light but plight!
A stitch in time saves none
Fate no longer determines our ending, Instead,we determine our own fate. With consequences we can’t forfeit!

‘Leaders serve us just ice
Instead of justice’
Friends are only friends when in need, Parents are now spoiling the child by
Using the rod sparingly
To raise kids whose leap of faith
Makes them leap before they look,
Stubbornly measuring the depth of the river
With both legs…
Anyway,what do I know?
Kanvewano kasita
The hand is in your balls…
