The fourth edition of the Kampala Homecoming concert was held at Mestil Hotel, Kampala, on Saturday, November 9, 2024.
It was a nearly sold-out show where fans enjoyed the sweet, melodious choral music to the fullest.
The event was largely attended by people of different ages who were thrilled by the sweet voices praising the Almighty in song.
It was a thrilling experience as the audience welcomed the different performers with loud chants and cheers.
The highlight choir of the day was Shofar (Sound the Trumpet). All the way from Nairobi, Kenya, the choir poured out their hearts with five beautiful pieces of music.
Michael Bunjo, the head of the organizing team, appreciated the attendees, the choirs, and the team that made the occasion a success.
“It hasn’t been easy. We have faced challenges from the devil, but I am glad to tell you that God has seen us through to make this (event) happen,” he said.
“We appreciate everyone who turned up for the event. The turnout was amazing, and we thank them for their support,” he added.
“To the choirs, I can not express my gratitude enough. You have gone through a lot but still managed to deliver outstanding performances. We promise to improve going forward. God bless you all,” he concluded.
