Held at Adventist Church Namasuba, the first edition of The Hymn Generation was a resounding success, showing great potential to become the next big thing in worship events.
Attendees were left with cherished memories as they experienced the beauty of worship through hymns.
While the stage primarily belonged to Jehovah Shalom Acapella, the audience played an active role in creating a soothing and uplifting atmosphere.
The event’s sound quality was exceptional, ensuring that every note and word was heard clearly without any strain.
Hope for Growth
Like any emerging brand, The Hymn Generation‘s debut edition demonstrated significant potential for growth.
Amos Wasswa, a member of Jehovah Shalom Acapella and the event’s Master of Ceremony, shared their vision for the future.
“This was the first of its kind. We are grateful to everyone who attended, and I believe the next edition will be even better,” he said.
“We will go back to the drawing board and discuss ways to improve and grow this brand. Our ultimate goal is to use music as a form of worship, ensuring that, above all, our Lord’s name is glorified,” he added.
In the same breath, vision bearer Elijah Kyagulanyi added that the goal is to ensure that they make hymns the heart of worship since the motto says, Keep a Hymn in your heart.
